There are people who like to study, others, however, hate it even though they know how important it is for their professional and academic future and they almost force themselves to kneel down and study day after day. For the former, it is easier to keep up with the study rhythm without getting lost than for the latter, but even so, distractions, whether family, friends, the fatigue of spending hours and hours studying without seeing an instant "gratification", can make It affects any type of student, whatever their devotion to books and notes.
For all who study, have the educational level they have, we bring this series of tips not to lose concentration while studying:
- Having a established schedule and mark with a stopwatch or normal watch the hours of study. When we have a planning of studies ahead, the duty as becomes more evident and we try to better fulfill our obligation. If we add to that setting alarms on the clock or mobile to notify us when we must finish studying one part or another of the syllabus, it helps us to be more concentrated to do so.
- Set reliable challenges and be little or not flexible at all. Studying without rhyme or reason does not help you stay focused. We can fall into the false theory of "I'll continue tomorrow" or "I can afford a day without studying so I quit." Setting a series of study topics per day and complying with it, motivates more and more and helps to keep up. - Rest every so often. The best thing you can do to stay focused while studying is to rest every so often (for example, every hour). If you rest every hour for 5 or 10 minutes, this little bit helps you escape and continue with more courage and strength when you return to it. Get up from the chair, walk a bit, have a glass of water or a snack, play with your pet ... Distract the mind for about 5 minutes every so often and it will be more active when you want to "eat the books" again.
