We all like contests, right? Especially those where knowledge is put to the test with questions that you have to respond within a certain period of time ... The reasons why we like them are simple and obvious, first because we are the ones who are evaluating ourselves, without fear of making a fool of ourselves, and secondly because it is a great way to learn.
The wheel of knowledge is a web project of the Junta de Andalucía that aims to give a review of primary and compulsory secondary education subjects in a didactic hobby that consists of answering very different questions, which are formulated while we virtually spin a roulette wheel.
We can choose three levels of difficulty and in each of them, after making the corresponding roll and seeing the question, we will have a time limit of professional , 20 seconds, in which, if we do not answer or if we do it incorrectly we can continue, although as is obvious we will not have added any additional points to our scoreboard and it will be more difficult for us to reach the yin and yang, which is how it is called a certain achieved level of responses.
It has a section, so to speak, for students, and another for support and support for teachers, where the fundamentals of the game are explained, as well as its iconography, in order to understand the different symbols that appear. Obviously, all this is only a base, since each teacher can adapt the rules to the own needs of their students. This is a great way to spend a 'refresher day', for example, or to take a knowledge assessment test at the beginning of each course. The experience will allow teachers an approach to the level of knowledge of each of the students, and for these it will be more a game than a test, so when you started the game they will have already forgotten the exam character and they will enjoy it.
