The Christmas campaign is a good opportunity to find temporary employment. Looking for work is a demanding job that is accompanied by the difficulty of uncertainty. In other words, no one knows exactly how long it will take to achieve their goal. Try not to worry about time but to occupy it.
How to look for work
1. How long has it been since you paid attention to update your resume in content and in format? Likewise, you also have to update the online resume of the job boards where you are present, for example, Infojobs. On many occasions, the key to finding a job lies precisely in updating previous actions.
2. If you are still studying, I suggest you take advantage of the Job Vacancies from the university or the Vocational Training Center of which you are a part since directly linked offers for students are published there. If you have already finished your studies, consult information on what benefits it offers you to be part of the Association of Former Students since you may have access to the center's job bank.
3. Go to the library every day to read the employment section from different newspapers. Pay special attention to the information in the newspaper of your province where job offers are likely to be published or there is a section of announcements in which you can offer your services.
4. Check the offer of training courses for workers and unemployed. This training is very valuable because it is mainly practical and is aimed at acquiring new skills.
5. Be very consistent in self-nomination. That is, it is key that you take the initiative of send the resume to companies in which you want to position yourself.
