Although we are already a little late because it is almost Christmas, we wanted to share with all of you, especially for those of you who are from the Region of Madrid and you have children, the school calendar from Madrid for this current course 2016-2017.
Some festive dates have already passed but in 2017 there are many to discover, so if you are curious to know what they are and plan a family getaway or a mini-vacation, then we will list them for you.

On month of DecemberClasses end on the 22nd, with an intensive session in the morning, lasting 4 hours.
En January Classes would resume on the 9th and we would not find another "holiday" until February 17, which is marked as "non-teaching for academic purposes." The Infant Schools, this day if they would open, both public and private.
En March, there is a public holiday from the 17th (Friday) to the 20th (Monday).
After this we would have to wait until Easter, where the holidays would begin on Friday April 7 and would last until Monday 17. In total, 11 days of well-deserved rest.
En May We have two public holidays: May 1, which is a holiday in all of Spain, since it is Labor Day, and it would be joined with May 2, which is the Festival of the Community of Madrid. As both dates fall on Monday and Tuesday, together with the previous weekend, there would also be a curious bridge.
On month of June, from the same day 1, the intensive days would begin (during the morning and in 4-hour days). June 22 is marked as the last day in both Infant and Primary, except for the 2nd year of Baccalaureate, which on that date is still pending possible make-up exams, etc.
